A truly intense and mysterious piece of art.
This heavily layered 3D Artwork will steal the attention of the whole room. Created with epoxy resin by adding layer after layer of liquid and pigment to create this intense floating watery effect through the surface.
Thousands of glass stones have been embedded to this artwork to create a powerful sense of presence. The wood panel has imperfect cut out sections giving the appearance of windows through the artwork.
Warm tones of ivory, browns, copper and golds were used to create depth and movement. Glass stones include, clear glass, gold glass and stones, mirrored glass, gems, pebbles and grainy sand to create this exquisite textured piece. Beautiful dotted line work in warm dark brown has been added to create further dimension and character.
To create the edging, I have used various products to create a rigid texture that is strong enough to withstand handling and sealed this with resin.
Artwork is very heavy (approx. 10kg) and ready to hang.
